The Truth Of Trading

This time I don’t want to share any strategy or knowledge. Today I want to share the truth of trading.

I have been trading for 2.5 years, but even now I feel something is missing in my trading—something that still has to be fixed. Some days I make money, some days I lose. Definitely, losing is part of trading, but when I lose, I don’t accept it as part of the trading business. I still feel bad when I lose money, and that directly affects my next series of trades. My focus on the process goes really down.

I have made all sorts of rules, and I am maintaining a detailed journal. It has been more than 3 months now. I learn something new, I face different flaws every week, and I make new rules to tackle them. And it is working well—90% of the problems I faced till now are slowly disappearing.

But still, the pain of losing money bothers me. I want to make money daily, and when I don’t, or when I close the day in a small loss, I feel bad, dull, and demotivated.

I have read Trading in the Zone multiple times, and it is a really good book, but after some days I go back to the same losing mentality. So even today, I am trying to find a way to fix this losing attitude. Definitely, if I keep doing the same things, I will never be successful.

If anyone knows the best method or something that can help me, please comment below.
